The moment you come to God by faith (in what the Bible tells us of our sin, and that Jesus Christ died and rose from the grave to save you from eternal seperation from God), God places you in Christ. Lewis Sperry Chafer in his book "Salvation: God's marvelous work of grace" tells us of 33 divine accomplishments that God performs on our behalf the moment we believe. Most Christians if asked if they knew many of these works of God, they would be hard pressed to list them, ashamedly myself included. I have determined to memorize them and have failed to complete it. I want to list these things as maybe someone may be blessed to know just how much God has already done for you the instant you belived unto salvation! What more could we add to such a wonderful work?
